MeMeMe Shimmer Stack - Pink Zest

I heard a lot that Mememe does a good dupe for Bobby Brown's Shimmer Bricks, only the one from Mememe is more suitable for oily skin because it's less shimmery and doesn't enhance big pores.

Mememe is only available online in Germany but I want to swatch it before deciding to buy it, so when I was in London (Mememe is a british brand ), I swatched the shimmer stack in pink zest and fell in love.

The packaging is a bit on the bulky side, but still looks sleek and simple. I like that it's quite big so it's easy to brush your blush brush over the product and it has a big sized mirror placed inside the case. It is made of matte plastic but is quite sturdy.

The consistency of this shimmer stack is soft but not on the velvety side. The powder is finely milled and pressed so it doesn't cause a lot of fall out. With 8,99 GBP, you get 12gr of product which is a great amount. I think this is going to last for a long time because a little swirl goes a long way.

The shimmer stack is actually meant to be highlighter, but for me, it is way too pigmented and has too much color for a highlighter. I would say it's more a pinky peach shimmery blush than a highlighter. It could be a good highlighter if you only apply the #1 shade from this stack. 

On my cheeks, it gives a nice sheen and glow. The pigmentation is great, so I have to be careful on application. It stays on my cheeks for a good 5-6 hours before requiring a touch up.

Overall, I love this shimmer stack and I think it's worth the price. I would recommend it for you who like to have a nice pinky peach sheen on your cheeks.

London Trip Photos and Haul!

Do you believe that dreams do come true? I do. And one of my biggest dream ever has just come true last week. 

I am a huge fan of Manchester United FC, and also England in general. I love The Royal , I love british accent, I love british football, I love their high tea tradition, I love the fashion scene, I love almost everything about England. Since I was a little girl, I dreamt that one day I would visit London and Manchester.

Last week, my dream came true. I finally managed to treat myself a vacation to London and Manchester. As I always know, I LOVE London so much!! ( Manchester as a city was not as vibrant as London, but the football stadium was amazing )

 According to some Harry Potter's Fansites, this sweetshop is the inspiration for Honeydukes. The store is in Leicester Square, and it is really a nice shop. The shop assistants are all so friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Now, lets go to the haul part! :-D

I know I know, please don't judge. We only live once, don't we? ;p

I am now working on some indepth reviews on each product I bought, but of course it takes time for me to try on and build my opinion on each product. So, please be patient :))

Overall, I really enjoyed my trip and I am planning to come back there to London maybe in October or November ;)

Updated What's in My Travel Make Up Bag

Hey guys I'm back from holiday!!

London was so much fun and I really had a great time there. I fell in love with the city and I am now already planning to come back , maybe in October or November ;)

Now, let me show you what make up I brought with me during my trip :

I tried my best not to bring too many make up since I knew I'm going to buy a lot more in London. lol. But in the end , I managed not to bring too many ( or are they already too many in your opinion? ;p ).

Catrice Defining Blush #060 - Rosewood Forest

Catrice has launced some new additions to its permanent range this month and I failed not to buy some of their new additions. -____-"

As hard as I tried not to buy more blushes, Catrice has launched a whole new range of blushes. As usual, I couldn't say no. Fortunately only 1 shade that caught my attention.

Catrice didn't change the packaging. It still comes in a sturdy plastic packaging which is sleek, thin and doesn't require a lot of place in my vanity. I like the efficiency of the packaging so much.

Rosewood Forest is a trully rosewood shade which is really versatile. It is matte and oil free, and has satin finish. The texture is so smooth and finely milled. The pigmentation is amazing but I don't have to worry about applying too much because it is easy to blend.

As usual, Catrice blushes don't let me down. This one is no exception. It is retailed for 3,75€ and you get 5gr of product which is a good amount. I believe this blush will suit every complexion amazingly.

Hoola Bronzer - Bella Bamba & Coralista

I've been wanting to try the famous Benefit blushes for a long time, but their heavy pricetags and the fact that I honestly don't need any other blushes until - at least - 2 years ahead, made me stay away from them. But I found an ebay seller that sells a lot of Benefit sample size products, so without hesitation I ordered these 2 blushes and 1 bronzer samples.

( Disclaimer : there are a lot of discussion going on about these Benefit sample size products. A lot of people are questioning whether they're fake. I honestly don't know and don't have any idea about it. You can do our own research, but since they're only sampe size, and I don't get any suspicious side effect or allergy, I think even if they're fake, they're safe- at least- for me ).

I ordered Bella Bamba, Coralista and Hoola bronzer, all of them come in 3gr sample size packaging. The original size has 6gr of product and cost 32€ here in Germany. This sample size products cost only 3 US$.

Hoola Bronzer is a matte ashy brown shade. It's really nice for contouring, only the pigmentation isn't that amazing. But I'm fine with it, because then I don't need to be extra careful on application. The texture is smooth but a little dusty. It has subtle floral scent.

Coralista is a pretty coral blush which contains golden shimmer particles. The texture is smooth and more dusty than Hoola bronzer. The shimmer looks pretty on cheeks so you don't need highlighter. It has a subtle floral scent.

Bella Bamba is another coral shade similar to Coralista, only it has no shimmer a.k.a matte. Bella Bamba looks really nice on cheeks. It gives a nice pinkish glow. The texture is smooth and a bit dusty, similar to Hoola bronzer. It also has a subtle floral scent.

Overall ( based on trying the samples ), I think Benefit blushes are good products with nice quality. But I don't think they are worth 32€ for 6gr of products. The staying power isn't really impressive too. But for half the original price, I would probably consider to buy :p
