I am never a fan of summer days. I know I might be a minority here, but I just can't stand the heat and the humidity. It's also problematic for me to wear makeup since I sweat so much and that will result in my base makeup melting under the heat. However, going out sans makeup is not an option since I have a 'I am sick and pale' kind of bare face, so a I still need a little bit of make up to make myself looking presentable xD.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This BB Cream from REN Clean Skincare came to the rescue and has been my summer base make up staple.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
REN Satin Perfection BB Cream comes in a nice tube packaging which I like. It's great for traveling and you can use it up till the last drops by cutting the tube in half once it's almost done. The design of the packaging is sleek and represents the brand very well. REN is a skincare brand , so I was skeptical at first but gladly it exceeded my expectations. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
There is only 1 shade available which is the light / medium shade. The BB Cream does look orange but once applied, it kinda adjusts to my skin tone and is actually a very good match. REN claims it to be skin tone adapting and should match light to medium skin tones. I am between MAC NC 15-20 and it matches me really well. I tested it on my bf's skin which is I assume might be around MAC NC 35-40 and it is a good match as well ( <i>you know all the things we do for makeup. LOL</i> ). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
REN Satin Perfection BB Cream has a airy but creamy texture. It is lightweight and a bit wet in consistency. I usually apply it using my fingers, just like applying moisturiser. The BB Cream is sheer but it is enough to even out my complexion. I still need concealer for my under eye area, but for hot and humid summer days, where I don't feel like wearing proper foundation, it's just perfect. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
In a nutshell, REN Satin Perfection BB Cream feels more like a tinted moisturiser instead of BB Cream IMO. The name might be misleading, but it is by no means a bad product. The finish is natural and it gives a nice very subtle glow and healthy looking skin. The staying power is not bad either if you combine it with good concealer and setting powder. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I love it!</div>

I think it is almost impossible to ignore the existence of Morphebrushes. The brand is everywhere. The reviews are mostly mixed though, either you love it or hate it. I had no intention to give anything from the brand a try, they just didn't attract my attention, until recently I spotted the range at Beautybay.com. The prices are affordable and I just couldn't resist to try one of their eyeshadow palettes. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I opted for the 12-er palette called Soul of Summer. It consists of 12 warm reddish toned shimmery shades. All the shades in the palette are shimmery and man they're intense! The shades range from typical highlight shades like champagne golden shades to olive, burnt orange and burgundy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Soul of Summer is definitely a very warm toned eye shadow palette. If you're not keen on having a palette with 12 warm toned shadows, you should definitely give this one a pass. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
All the shadows are buttery smooth and have great pigmentation. They don't feel powdery to touch, and have a slightly 'wet pressed pigment' feel. I didn't have problem with fall out as the shadows are not powdery at all. However, they can get a bit crumbly if your eye shadow brush is harsh. I personally prefer to apply the shadows using my fingers then blend them with blending brush. Due to the intense pigmentation, you definitely need to be light handed with application, unless you really aim for a bold look. They apply well with or without primer, and being a lazy person like myself, I very rarely use primer. The staying power is impressive and I can imagine it being even better with a good base underneath.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Morphe eye shadow palette comes in a black plastic case which does feel a bit cheap and flimsy. But for €14,50 I believe we can put the downside aside.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I do wish they would put few matte shades to compliment the shimmery ones. But, for the price point, I wouldn't complain much.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Have you tried anything from Morphe?</div>

My experiences with Benefit cosmetics have been hits and misses. There was a phase where I was obsessed with High Beam and Benetint and there was also a phase where I got fed up with those two and started to develop a love hate relationship with them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love highlighter but sometimes I dislike it when they're being too shimmery or too much. When Benefit launched a matte highlighter ( as oxymoron as it sounds ), I was sold and ordered it right away.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Benefit Shy Beam comes in a very beautiful frosted rose gold bottle. The packaging is similar to Benetint, High Beam and co only is is tinted and has more girly ornament on it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Benefit describes Shy Beam as nude pink matte radiance highlighter. So it's supposed to give a glow without being shimmery. Who doesn't want that? But, let me spill it for you that it sadly didn't leave up to my expectations :-(. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Shy Beam has a lightweight but slightly thick-gloopy texture ( keep High Beam in mind, they're very similar in texture ). It is peachy nude in color but once blended, it disappears. I am MAC NC 15-20 and Shy Beam just doesn't want to show up on my skin. I literally see nothing. Not even a slight glow or radiance. It's like I just apply another layer of skin-tone foundation, or primer. Maybe it would work for people with deeper skin tone, maybe I just fall to the wrong skin tone category? Aside of the color fail, it blends easily and doesn't accentuate anything bad. I think the product itself is not particularly bad, it is just they should have put more thoughts on the shade.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
For the obvious reasons above, there is no point for me to use Shy Beam since it doesn't do anything to my skin, and I probably just wore it twice, I can't really tell you its staying power.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Sadly, Benefit Shy Beam is a failed purchase for me. Let me know if you have tried this one out and what do you think about it? </div>

I've tried several matte liquid lipsticks and I must say I were not a huge fan as they all tend to be very very dry and crack my lips. But, recently I purchased 2 liquid lipsticks that I found to be very very good. Let's do a comparison between Girlactik Lip Paint in Allure and The Balm Meet Matte Hughes in Charming.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>The Balm Meet Matt Hughes in Charming</b> is described as a long lasting liquid matte lipstick. Let me start by saying that the description is on point. Charming is a muted deep rose / berry shade, basically the shade that is on trend at the moment. Almost every brands that carry liquid matte lipsticks are having this shade because it's a flattering color for almost all skin tones. I personally love Charming very much. It's a shade that makes my teeth appear whiter and also complementing my complexion really well. The texture is very thin and watery and it sets into a matte finish. It's true matte with no sheen whatsoever. It feels sticky for the first couple of minutes before setting into a rather rubbery feeling. From the beginning, I was well aware that no matte liquid lipstick will be hydrating and Charming was not an exception. It is slightly drying, but it's not uncomfortable and I still can wear it the entire day despite of my lips being easily chapped and dried out. However, I prefer to apply a thin layer of lip balm underneath to make it a little less drying ( the balm won't eliminate the matte effect though, so no worries about it, just make sure to apply just a very thin layer of lip balm ). Having a balm underneath will shorten its staying power, but I really don't mind. Without a lip balm underneath, Charming can get to 5-6 hour mark with no problem. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Girlactik Matte Lip Paint in Allure</b> was a exciting surprise. I purchased it on a whim because I really liked the shade, but I didn't expect it to be anything groundbreaking. But, after trying it on, I was so happy to find out how good it really was. The texture is similar to The Balm Meet Matt, very thin and watery. It's really easy to apply and the doe foot applicator enables a precise application. It sets after few seconds into matte finish as well. Compare to The Balm, Girlactik is more comfortable on the lips and doesn't particularly need a lip balm underneath. It feels a tad sticky but the stickiness will fade after few minutes. It is very comfortable on the lips to the point that I almost forgot that I had something on. Allure is a warm nudish pink shade. On my lips however, it appears a bit coral which is still very beautiful. It is also the kind of shade that will flatter a lot of skin tones. The staying power is great and slightly longer than The Balm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Overall, if you have problems with dry lips and have yet to find the perfect matte liquid lipstick, look no further. These two are excellent.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The Balm Matt Hughes retails for €16,99 / 7,4ml and Girlactik Matte Lip Paint retails for US$ 23 / ( can't find the amount of the product on the website, but I guess the same as The Balm ).</div>

I visited Amsterdam last month and of course I had to give De Bijenkorf at Dam Square a visit. I was surprised to see a huge Charlotte Tilbury counter there. It was a Monday, but the counter was packed. All the lovely ladies working there were busy , so I had a good time alone swatching here and there before a lovely CT girl approached me and we spent almost an hour solid talking about make up xD.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I was there with my aunt and she was looking for a nice natural foundation for mature skin ( my aunt is 65 years old ). So, she was given a make over from the nice CT girl ( I sadly forgot her name though :/) and my aunt ended up taking all the stuffs the MUA applied on her face. I was impressed to see the direct result on my aunt's skin. While waiting for her make up to be done, I did a lot of swatches and ended up liking the Cheek to Chic blush in Ecstasy a bit too much xD ( I wanted to get the Walk of Shame lipstick too but it was sold out ). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush comes in a nice slim and round plastic case. The case is well made and has a good weight to it despite of it being made out of plastic. There is a built in mirror inside but it doesn't include mini brush which I think is good as mini brushes are usually being thrown away.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The Cheek to Chic Blushes have 2 different shades in one pan. I picked up the shade Ecstasy which a bright coral and a peach shade. Both shades have sheen and are not matte. They're not shimmery though. I like to swirl my brush to both shades and mix them together to achieve a flattering peachy coral color. The blush has a good pigmentation and reminds me a lot of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush. The texture is smooth and finely milled. I experience very minimal fall out and despite of its excellent pigmentation, it still has room for errors. It blends beautifully and won't give you an over blushed look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The staying power is great as well. This blush is a winner in my book.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush retails for €39/8gr of product which is expensive, but it's worth the splurge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
What is your current blush favourite?</div>

Ever since Lisa Eldrigde took over the creative director position at Lancome, they've been coming up with a lot of new interesting products. I was never really attracted to the brand as it used to have a slight old fashioned image to it. But nowadays, their new launches are looking really nice and make me want to explore the range more. I recently just purchased one of their new Juicy Shaker and I've been enjoying it so far.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lancome Juicy Shaker is described to be pigment infused lip oil. This might not be the first type of product on the market, but I can say that it is the only one that looks attractive enough for me to try. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cute packaging plays a big role, I guess. The juicy shaker comes in a cute mini shaker tube / bullet with a witty sponge applicator. The sponge applicator absorbs a lot of product and gets soaked up after few usage. The sponge applicator is unusual but it works perfectly fine. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Texture wise, it is a lip oil infused with pigment. It has oily-slippery texture and the pigmentation is sheer. I have tried several shades and to be honest, they all look very similar once applied. I personally don't think that you need to buy several shades as they're all very sheer and therefore do not have different effects on the lips. It is however very lightweight and is not sticky at all. It applies smoothly and a tad slippery. The oily feeling is not something that bothers me as it doesn't feel greasy. Another good thing, for something with oily and slippery formulation, it has a good staying power. The shine will fade after 2-3 hour wear, but the tint of color stays on pretty well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Juicy Shaker feels hydrating on the lips and is very comfortable to wear. I like to apply is as a 'topcoat' for drier lip products or sometimes alone on days I just want a very natural look.<br />
<br />
Overall, Lancome Juicy Shaker is a nice addition to my lip product stash. It's not cheap at €17,99-€22,99 depends on where you get it, but I didn't regret the purchase.<br />
<br />
Love,<br />

Another new foundation purchase over here xD. I just can't stop buying new foundation that it is no longer healthy for my wallet ( well, at least it makes me happy and happy mind means healthy being, right? ).<br />
<br />
Shiseido recently launched a new foundation called Shyncro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation ( what a mouthful name! ). I saw the foundation featured on some instagrammers I follow, so when I spotted it online , I just took the plunge and ordered it ( other excuse ; I had a voucher so I ended up saving almost €20 woohoo ! ).</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
According to the official website, Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation is supposed to be lightweight and long wearing foundation that provides a flawless and natural finish without any greasy / oily shine. The foundation is also non comedogenic and suitable for all skin types.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've been trying this foundation for the past 3 weeks and I have a mixed feeling for it. The foundation has a lightweight and slightly runny texture. It does feel silicone-y and applies beautifully. But, it does tend to sit in my pores and hence slightly emphasize the pores which is never a good thing. It is however not the case if I pair it with Sunday Riley Breathable tinted primer so the pore enhancing case is not really an issue with me but it's worth noting if you have really large and visible pores or dry patches.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The foundation provides a medium coverage and has a natural finish. It does not look cakey or dull despite of the matte finish. The finish is not dead matte though ( if you compare it with Estee Lauder Double Wear or Revlon Colorstay for oily skin, for instance ), and as for my combination skin, even the mattest foundation will get dewy within few hours xD. But if you pair with with good primer + good setting powder, this foundation stays on pretty well. It got to 8-9 hour mark with no problem.<br />
<br />
It was not easy to find the right shade for my complexion, but after looking at some swatches online, I decided to take shade Neutral 01. I could have gone a shade darker though as Neutral 01 is a bit too light for spring / summer. I recently went on a beach vacation and got a bit tanned , so this foundation will have to wait until my tan fades and the colder days are back.<br />
<br />
Overall, I am glad I didn't buy it at full price ( €49,99 ) because I would be rather disappointed. The foundation is not bad, but it does have some issues. It claims to be suitable for all skin types whereas the dry patches clinging issue might make it problematic for people with dry skin as well as the pores enhancing issue might not be best for people with oily skin.<br />

Lorac Unzipped Palette was long on my wish list mainly because of the warm rose gold hue which is just my cup of tea. It seems like a good combination of matte and shimmers as well and the swatches online just all look so good and intense. But, my experience with the other much hyped Lorac Pro Palette was not really good, because I felt kind of underwhelmed by it, that's why I always resisted to get my hands on the Unzipped palette. Until recently, I saw it on a local blog sale for only €15. I thought I'd give it a try.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Despite of its preloved status, the palette came in a very good condition, it is almost new. The seller mentioned that she only used the palette 2-3 times, so I managed to snatch a very good deal. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lorac Unzipped Palette comes in a slim beige - gold cardboard packaging. I have nothing against cardboard packaging but for the original price ( US$42 ), I just think they could have invested more on sturdier case. It got a large built in mirror though, which is nice because when I travel, I don't need to carry extra mirror since the built in mirror is big enough.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The palette consists of 10 eye shadows ; 5 matte and 5 shimmers. It is a warm toned palette which suits my complexion really well. I can't really do cool toned / grayish eye shadows because they tend to wash out my complexion and make it looking ashy. Most of the shadows have no major issues. They all have good pigmentation, apply and blend very well. The shimmery shades are overall better compare to the matte ones. The shimmery ones are incredibly smooth and great in pigmentation whereas some of the matte shades could be a bit patchy. My favorites from this palette are Unbelievable , Unattainable, and Unconditional. I use them a lot on daily basis and the shimmers one are great solo performers, so it's good if you don't have a lot of time to combine some different shades for a look.<br />
<br />
Speaking about staying power, I have no issue with the shadows. I don't usually apply primer due to my laziness xD but they stay on pretty well. I'd say they can go to 8 hour mark without primer with no problem, so with primer, they can stay even longer.<br />
<br />
Overall, I like this palette better than the Pro palette. The shades are 'less boring' and more flattering for my skin tone. The price is high, but I think the quality justifies it well.<br />
<br />
Have you tried Lorac eye shadow?<br />

There was a moment when I was crazy over cushion foundations. I found them very practical and good for on the go touch up. I have tried several cushion foundations from various brands but, my favorite remains the same which is Laneige BB Cushion. The other cushion foundations I have tried were either mediocre or broke me out or too greasy for my skin type. So after few experiments, my phase with cushion foundations was over. Until recently, I was enabled by @ryanroar 's post on Instagram and saw 2 limited edition releases from Beyond Cosmetics and A'pieu. The packaging is too cute to resist so I put an order, solely because of the packaging xD.</div>

<b>Beyond Cosmetics feat Alice in Wonderland Cushion Foundation #21</b> - Look at the packaging! How could one resist not to get it, right? The shade #21 is actually darker than I imagined. I am shade #21 on almost all asian brand cushion foundations, but this one from Beyond is a tad darker. It doesn't oxidize though, so I can still make it work. The formula is surprisingly a bit on the heavier side. It doesn't feel lightweight and is very pigmented. A little goes a loooong way which is not the usual case for korean base products. Due to its full coverage, it can appear dull and mask like. The shade also looks a bit ashy against my complexion. I can make it work if I apply it using damp beauty blender to sheer it down, but otherwise, it is just not the right formula for my preference and skin type.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b>A'Pieu feat Doraemon Cushion Foundation #21</b> - Unlike Beyond cushion foundation, the A'pieu one is a better shade match for my complexion. The texture is more lightweight and hence easier to apply. It provides a nice medium coverage and enough to cover imperfections, blemishes and redness arounf my cheeks. The finish is natural but very dewy. The dewy finish looks really nice though, but might not be the best for my combination skin. I usually set it with translucent powder to tone down the dewiness a little bit and prolong the wear of the foundation.<br />
<br />
Overall, I like the A'pieu one way better than Beyond cosmetics. I still don't reach for it often enough though as I prefer liquid foundation for daily use. But I have been carrying the A'pieu one in my purse for on the go touch up whenever I have a long day ahead. As for the Beyond Cosmetics cushion foundation , I am still happy to have it because the case is definitely a collectible item xD.<br />

There is something about the brand Tom Ford that is just very tempting and inviting you to get to know the products better ( read : buying them ) xD. When Tom Ford launched the new range of cream eye shadows this spring, I just knew I had to get at least 1 shade a try. After looking at swatches online, I decided to go with Spice. The new line has not yet arrived in Germany, but a friend of mine was traveling from the UK, so she helped me getting this particular product.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
When I first saw the press release and checked the price of this cream shadow, I was kind of skeptical. I mean, €47 for a cream eye shadow is a lot. It must be extremely good to justify the crazy price tag. But I've been reading positive reviews and the more I saw the swatches, the more I got attracted to the products. Long story short, as mentioned before, I bought this eye shadow with the help of my friend xD.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The cream eye shadow comes in a nice glass jar packaging. The glass jar has the perfect size. I hate it when cream products have a very small jar that makes it difficult to pick up the product, esp with my giant size fingers, lol. There is a TF logo printed on the top of the lid.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Spice is a warm golden bronze shade. It's a very easy - foolproof shade to wear. It looks beautiful solo or with combination with other eye shadows. I am usually just being lazy and wear it solo on the lids. Spice has a nice iridescent -sheen finish. It is not shimmery, nor matte but it gives enough dimension to the lids and doesn't look flat or dull.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Texture wise, it is a dream. The texture is lightweight,creamy and airy. It is crazily pigmented, so you only need the slightest touch. This jar will definitely last me a long time. The formula is excellent. It blends seamlessly on the lids. I usually apply it with my fingers then blend the edges using blending brush. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Talking about the staying power, this cream eye shadow once again nailed it. It doesn't crease, smear or smudge at all. It stays on whole day long even without eye shadow primer. I have tried quite a few cream eye shadows from drugstore to high end range and I must say this one is definitely one of the best I've tried. I know the price tag is crazy, but after using it for few weeks almost on daily basis, I don't find it difficult to justify the price xD.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Have you tried the cream eye shadow from Tom Ford?</div>

One of my new year's resolutions is to buy less and pay more attention to quality instead of quantity. But some drugstore products are sometimes really good and more than just another cheap thrills. These new lipsticks from Trend It Up are good examples.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Trend it Up is an in house brand from DM , a drugstore chain in Germany. The brand focused on lip products ( lip liners, lipsticks, lip glosses, liquid lipsticks ) and nail polishes. The display is small but well packed and simply- sleek decorated. I had never really paid attention to the brands, but a friend of mine told me they have great matte lipsticks, so on one day where I needed to visit DM for household supply, I was being naughty and did few swatches that led to a purchase xD.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Trend it Up matte lipsticks are housed in a sleek black case. There is nothing fancy about the packaging, but it's weighty and functions really well. The case also doesn't feel flimsy or cheap.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I opted for 2 shades ; #020 and #090. They look kind of similar on the hand swatches above, but IRL they're very different. #020 is a medium rose-y pink shade that resemblances Tom Ford Pussycat a lot, only #020 is warmer and less mauve-y. #090 is a deep reddish pink that looks pink under sun light and looks red under dim light ( I know, it's crazy right? lol ). The lipsticks don't have any names, only number which is slightly annoying and harder to remember.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I didn't have a lot of expectations for these lipsticks but they really surprised me in a positive way. The texture is creamy - a bit waxy but still glides on smoothly and effortlessly. The finish is velvet matte, not über dry matte which I prefer because I just can't be friend with this ultra matte liquid lipstick trend. They just don't look good on me and make my lips looking like they haven't had any contact with lip balm for years xD. I like that these Trend It Up matte lipsticks don't accentuate my lip lines and are very comfortable on the lips. I usually can only wear matte lipstick for a few hours but these are so comfortable and hydrating that I sometimes forget I am having matte lipstick on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My favorite matte lipstick ever is so far the Tom Ford matte lipsticks, but they are unfortunately not very friendly for the wallet, so I am glad that I found a very good alternative for the Tom Ford ones for a fraction of the price.</div>

This foundation was everywhere lately, and has been receiving mixed reviews. As a foundation junkie, I just couldn't resist so I put an order from Sephora and chose the shade based on swatches I found online. My review is going to be a bit mixed too on this one though.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Born This Way Foundation is the latest foundation launch from Too Faced. There are a lot of decent full range swatches online so it was not difficult for me to choose my shade. I opted for Vanilla which is a good match for my complexion and has a yellow undertone ( before I found out that it oxidised -___-, but it was still a good match, just not on point ).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The foundation has thick liquid consistency. It applies and blends nicely. It provides medium to full coverage and creates a flawless creamy finish. A lot of people mentioned how the foundation looked matte on their skin. Upon application, it just looks 'creamy' and a bit wet on me though. It sets into a satin finish after setting powder. Another thing, I don't find that it layers well. A little goes a long way with this foundation, because too much of product will make my face looking cakey and mask-like. So I usually apply a thin layer of foundation and blend it using damp beauty blender to achieve a solid medium coverage but still looking natural finish. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Based on the texture, finish and how it performs, it reminds me a lot of NARS Sheer Glow foundation. But I have to say that Born This Way-despite of the claim to be oil free, doesn't have impressive oil control. My T-zone gets oily within few hours so a constant blot is needed. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
On a good note, Too Faced Born This Way foundation is a good solid foundation with decent coverage and nice finish. It looks great on picture and would suit almost all skin types ( for the exception of extremely oily skin ). The staying power is great too ( I got a solid 8-9 hour with a good setting powder and occasional blotting ). The shade range is wide, from very pale to very deep, so I think Too Faced did a good job on those aspects. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
However, there are some aspects that do not really please me such as ; oxidation and lack of oil control despite of the oil free claim. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Overall, a good mediocre foundation. It's not bad, but it's not groundbreaking. I am happy to have it in my collection though.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Have you tried this new Born This Way Foundation?</div>

I am a huge fan of cleansing balm and use it every single day for my PM skincare routine as a first step cleanser ( I do double cleanse because #doublecleanseforlife , lol ). I've tried several cleansing balms and was really curious to try the one from Banila.Co due to its positive reviews online. I put an order and the cleansing balm came in the mail ca.2 weeks ago. I have been trying every single day and now ready to give you my opinion on it.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Banilla.co Clean It Zero cleansing balm comes in a nice jar packaging. The jar is made out of plastic, but has a good weight to it and very well made. I personally like the packaging even though it's rather bulky and might not be the best option for traveling due to its size.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The cleansing balm is milky in color. It has a lightweight and a bit slippery balm texture ( <i>similar to TBS Camellia cleansing balm rather to Emma Hardie cleansing balm</i> ), upon contact with skin, the balm melts into oil form and removes make up thoroughly. It doesn't require vigorous rubbing at all, my make up just melts and can be easily wiped away. A little goes a long way too. I usually scoop around 2 peas size amount of product for my whole face, wipe it in circular motion then wipe it with muslin cloth soaked in lukewarm water. After that, I proceed to my second cleanser ( <i>I usually opt for cream cleanser afterwards</i> ). Clean It Zero doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or stripped off after cleansing. It cleanses well, but it is gentle enough for daily use.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Clean It Zero has a very subtle powdery scent which I really really like. I know some people who are sensitive to perfume in cosmetics might not like it, but I have enough with unscented cleanser which smells soooo bad ( <i>Eve Lom, I am thinking of you</i> ) and since cleanser is meant to be cleansed or rinsed off anyway, I don't have any problem with it being scented. It is very subtle anyway.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
For those of you who live outside Asia, this might not be easy to get. But there are a lot of trusted sellers on eBay which sell this particular product and offer free worldwide shipping. I personally ordered mine from cosmetic-love.com and my order took around 2 weeks to arrive from South Korea to Germany.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Overall, I can only recommend you to give it a try. It is reasonably priced too. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Do you use cleansing balm to remove make up? What is your current cleansing routine?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

I've been a a fan of Burberry make up range and constantly checking their website to see what's new xD. When I saw the new highlighters from the spring/summer runway 2016 collection I just couldn't say no. The details are so beautiful, and since I have always had good experiences with Burberry make up line, I decided to put an order online despite of lack of swatches I could find at that time.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to get shade 1 which is a frosty white shade. The other shade available is warm gold, and since I didn't have any white highlighters, I opted for the white one.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Burberry spring / summer runway highlighter in shade 01 white is a frosted white highlighter with cool undertone. Comparing it with other highlighters on my stash, it is the closest to Tom Ford Moonlight ( Daylight ) highlighter, but while Daylight has a slight golden sheen and warmer undertone , Burberry White is a full on white with frosted sheen. The texture is a tad dry but smooth and a little bit bouncy. Texture wise, it reminds me a bit of MAC Soft & Gentle. It is not as creamy as BECCA pressed Opal but not as dry as Soft & Gentle. It applies well and blends seamlessly. It doesn't apply patchy and looks natural on the cheeks. I also like the fact that it doesn't emphasise pores.<br />
<br />
Housed in a beautiful Burberry gun metal magnetic case, it also comes with a mini brush and velvety pouch. The case has a built in mirror<br />
<br />
It lasted a good 7-8 hour on my cheeks. It is overall a very decent and well executed highlighter, everything from design, packaging, texture, and performance are on point and ticked all the boxes. You might not need it if you already have similar shades on your collection. For me, it's more a collectible item xD.<br />
<br />
Burberry Spring Summer 2016 Runway Highlighter retails for €53 and available in 2 shades.<br />

I get excited every time I see a new foundation release. I just love foundation and find it the most interesting make up item to try.<br />
Just recently, I accompanied a friend of mine looking for the perfect foundation for her dry skin, so we visited some beauty counters and spent a lot of time at Laura Mercier. Predictably, I didn't go home empty handed xD.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation is a new foundation by Laura Mercier. I personally have never owned any foundation from the brand ( I've only tried their tinted moisturiser. Liked it but not head over heels ). The Candleglow foundation is marketed to be a medium coverage foundation with lightweight and hydrating formula. First of all, I must say that those claims are not 100% true IMO. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Coverage wise, Laura Mercier Candleglow foundation is rather sheer than medium. One layer of this foundation barely covers anything. I applied 2 and half layers of it on the picture above, and still you can see that it doesn't really cover the redness on my cheeks ( I had concealer too on the picture ). So, if you have a lot of blemishes or skin problems, you might find this one lacking in coverage department. I won't pinpoint the sheer coverage if Laura Mercier doesn't advertise it to be medium coverage though. There is nothing wrong with a sheer foundation as it can look very good and natural on people with less problematic skin, but don't claim it to be medium because it's misleading. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The foundation barely covers any imperfections, but it does even out the complexion and provides a very natural finish. Think about tinted moisturiser with sheer coverage, it's what you can achieve with one layer of this foundation. Due to its dewy finish, I have to always set it with setting powder and periodically blot my Tzone area because it gets oily very quick.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Texture wise, the foundation has a lightweight liquid texture. It applies nicely and easy to blend. I find it best to apply it using damp-but not too wet beauty blender as foundation brushes can make it appear streaky. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Overall, I don't think this foundation is a bad one. It is just not suitable for my preference and skin type. I can imagine it works beautifully for people with dry to normal skin and less problematic skin. The foundation is housed in a beautiful frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser which is great. It retails for €48,99 / 30ml and yet it's not a bad foundation, I do think you can achieve similar - if not better effect with cheaper alternatives out there.</div>

I hope you're not bored yet reading another H&M beauty line post from me xD. I went to the shop and bought 2 cream eye shadows from the range. They don't have as many color selection as the powder eye shadows, but you get almost all the basic shades covered. After some heavy swatching, I went home with 2 shades ; Gentlewoman and Dauphine Truffle.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
H&M Beauty Cream Eyeshadow comes in a glass pot packaging, the packaging is simple yet well made and has a good weight to it. There is nothing spectacular about the jar / pot, but it's functional.<br />
<br />
Dauphine Truffle is a medium chocolate shade with very fine golden shimmers and Gentlewoman is a deep purplish plum with fine golden shimmers. The shimmers in Dauphine Truffle are not really visible once applied unlike the shimmers in Gentlewoman. Both shades are great to perform solo on the lids without looking dull or flat. Dauphine Truffle will work really well as base too due to its lack of shimmers while Gentlewoman won't be best option for a base.<br />
<br />
H&M Beauty Cream Eyeshadow has a very nice creamy texture. They're smooth and easy to apply. Pigmentation is great and it blends seamlessly. I usually like to apply the eye shadow with my fingers and blend the edges using blending brush. They set pretty quick though, so it's better to blend it directly after application and do one eye at a time.<br />
<br />
For €5,99, the H&M Beauty Cream Eyeshadows are great finds. They stay on really well , don't crease nor smudge even without eye primer. I hope H&M will expand the color selection and add more shades in the near future.<br />
<br />
Have you tried anything from H&M beauty range? and what is your all time fave cream eye shadows?<br />

I did a little Essence haul recently. It's been awhile since the last time I really paid attention to their display at our local drugstore. Surprisingly they came up with a lot of interesting new products, these matte lip glosses are not new though. I remember I used to like their formula in the past. So I decided to give them another try, and bought 4 shades , most of them are nudes because I wanted to give the nude matte lipstick/lipcreams a try without breaking the budget.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Essence Matt XXL Longlasting lip gloss comes in a simple lip gloss tube packaging with a doe foot applicator. For €2,25 each, I can't complain much about the packaging. It's simple and functional. However, the doe foot applicator is a bit woobly. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I picked up 4 colors ; Soft Nude, Velvet Rose, Coral Mousse and Silky Red. I didn't expect to like the 3 nude shades because I kinda knew they would be too pale for my complexion, but I ended up liking Soft Nude better than expected. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<b>Soft Nude</b> is a peachy nude shade which surprisingly doesn't look too pale on my complexion. It doesn't make my teeth appear yellow and doesn't make my complexion looking ashy. It resembles one of my favourite nude lipstick ; Rouge Bunny Rouge in Whim of Mine a lot. <b>Velvet Rose</b> and <b>Coral Mousse</b> on the other hand, are exactly what I imagined them to be. They're both too pale , too yellow or too blue toned, and make my teeth appear yellow. <b>Silky Red</b>, is a safe bet though. It's a bright chilli red and also a winner out of the bunch. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Texture wise, Essence Matt XXL lip gloss has a powdery texture. It's creamy and powdery at the same time. Soft Nude and Silky Red apply smoothly and evenly while Velvet Rose and Coral Mousse are on the patchier side. The quality is rather inconsistent and depends on the shades. Velvet Rose and Coral Mousse are patchy and set into lip lines while Silky Red and Soft Nude are smooth and don't accentuate the lip lines. All shades are kind of slippery though, and they don't completely set. So, I usually blot with tissue paper then reapply then blot again, otherwise they will move around due to their slippery texture. The finish is powdery matte, not super super dry matte like most liquid lipsticks on the market though. They all feel comfortable on the lips and don't dry up my lips badly. However, Silky Red tends to bleed and feather without lip liner and since I am not an avid fan of lip liners, it is kind of bothersome. I don't experience it with the lighter shades though.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Due to their creamy texture, they don't stay really long on the lips. I can get 3-4 hour wear with the lighter shades and ca.4-5 hour wear with the red one. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
What is your favourite matte liquid lipstick?</div>

If I'm not mistaken, the L'oreal Perfect Match foundation is a reformulated version of the famous Le Teint Perfect Match ( in Europe ) or True Match ( in US ). I had not tried any of the previous version but have read a lot of good things about them.<br />
<br />
L'oreal True Match foundation comes in a nice glass packaging with a pump spender. For a drugstore foundation, the packaging is not bad. It doesn't have any luxurious touch to it, but still a functional packaging and I appreciate the pump spender very much. The shade vanilla is a nice match for my complexion. It has beige-neutral undertone, not too yellow but not too peachy. It was not easy to find a good match for my skin because most of the lighter shades are too pink. Gladly, Vanilla is a good match.<br />
<br />
Speaking of the texture, it has a liquid runny texture. It is lightweight and thin, but creamy at the same time. It applies nicely and the kind of foundation that will work well with fingers, sponge or brushes. This foundation is easy to work with and blends easily. I personally like to apply it using damp beauty blender as it gives the most natural finish. Coverage wise, L'oreal True Match offers a solid medium to full coverage without being heavy. It evens out my complexion and covers redness or blemishes well. I can go with no concealer because the coverage is decent enough. It provides a demi matte finish, depends on the application tool, you can achieve a matte finish using brush, or demi matte-satin finish using damp make up sponge. I usually don't set this foundation with powder due to its demi matte finish, and The finish is natural looking and not dull. It makes my skin looking flawless but not mask like. I am surprised by how much I like this foundation. It's been awhile since the last time I fell in love with drugstore foundation.<br />
<br />
Another good point is the staying power. This foundation is long wearing , even without primer. I can easily go to 8 hour mark with it.<br />
<br />
Overall, a really good foundation from the drugstore and I can't recommend it enough.<br />
<br />
What's your current favourite drugstore foundation?<br />
Love,<br />

I've been wanting to try the love flush blushes from Too Faced, but due to the limited availability in Germany, it took me a long time to finally get my hands on the products. A friend of mine came visiting from Jakarta and I asked her to bring me this set.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks Set comes with 3 mini Melted lipsticks and 3 mini Love Flush blushes. If I'm not mistaken, this set was part of Too Faced's Christmas collection, hence the festive packaging. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The Love Flush blushes come in a cutesy mini case. The case isn't exact copy of the full size version but still looks really cute imo. The shades included are Love Hangover ; a bright coral shade , Justify My Love ; a Barbie pink shade and Your Love is King ; a purplish plum shade. I didn't expect the blushes to be very pigmented, so I was surprised to see how greatly pigmented they are. However, the pigmentation made it difficult to apply. I find them all to be patchy and difficult to blend. I tried to use sparse blush brush to pick up less product, but still a little goes a long way and I still ended up with OTT blushed cheeks. The texture is smooth but very powdery. A gentle swipe equals powder mess. Too bad since I actually like the colors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The Melted Lipsticks also come in a mini packaging, only the tubes are exact copy of the full size version. I am not a fan of the squeeze tube packaging since the attached sponge can look a bit messy and dirty after awhile. The shades included are Melted Nude ; a peachy nude shade , Melted Peony ; a Barbie pink shade and Melted Fig ; a purplish plum shade. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Out of 3 shades, I can only wear Melted Fig in real life as the other two are definitely not my cup of tea. Melted Nude is too pale and Melted Peony is too pink. They all look very unflattering against my complexion. Texture wise, they have creamy texture and apply nicely. They have matte powdery finish and remind me of NYX lip creams. The 2 lighter shades tend to emphasise my lip lines , only Melted Fig doesn't. All 3 shades have good staying power and are not really drying on my lips despite of the matte finish.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Overall, I'm glad I bought this set since it's a good value for money and I got to try the products without having to commit to the full size. However, I just didn't find the blushes or the liquid lipsticks groundbreaking. If you find a particular shade you'd really like, then go for it. But otherwise, I think you can invest your money on other stuffs xD.</div>

Yes I know, another highlighter review. But, I just have been buying more and more highlighters recently xD</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
MAC Soft & Gentle was long on my list, and I honestly didn't know what held me back for so long to buy this highlighter. However, I finally took the plunge and bought it during a 20% promo.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
MAC Soft & Gentle comes in a solid black case with a magnetic closure. I believe mine is the new packaging, as the old one has a full transparent lid. I personally prefer the old packaging as I find the new one a bit cheap looking ( reminds me of the fake MAC products you can find on eBay xD ).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Packaging aside, MAC Soft & Gentle is a warm beige champagne highlighter. It's the closest to Tom Ford Moodlight ( Moonlight ) It has a slightly dry , grubby and dusty texture but nothing uncomfortable. The pigmentation is amazing, and it's certainly not a highlighter for the faint hearted xD. However, as someone who usually prefers subtle highlighter, Soft & Gentle is something I can still tolerate. I just need to be more careful on application and use it sparingly on day time. The formula is great to be layered so make sure you work with thin layers instead of one thick layer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
MAC Soft & Gentle contains a lot of glitter particles. Once applied, the glitters are obvious, but they're fine and micro in size, so I don't find it something to be worried about. It doesn't emphasise my pores and doesn't make my face looking like a disco ball.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
After trying this highlighter for awhile, I can understand why it is such a cult favourite especially for bridal make up. The glow is so pretty. It is in the same territory with The Balm Marylou Manizer in terms of intensity and pigmentation. The finish is intense, but you can sheer it down for more low key days. If I need to pick one downside, I'll point out the slightly dry-dusty texture. If you prefer velvety smooth - almost creamy highlighters like BECCA or The Balm Marylou Manizer, you might find this one too grubby. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Overall, MAC Soft & Gentle is a nice addition to my growing highlighter stash. It is a staple to have and something I reach for whenever I want a more intense glow look. It retails for €32 / 10gr which I think is pretty reasonable. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

What is your current favourite highlighter?</div>

My relationship with Chanel make up has been going on pretty good lately. It was not really good in the past, but now we are working things out together xD.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This newly launched foundation from Chanel has been another example of why I started to fall in love with the brand again.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation was launched somewhere in January and has been a talk in the town since the day it was born. I have to admit that I religiously checked on all websites that carry Chanel where I live and once I saw it online, I speedily googled for swatches, opted for 020 ( gladly a good match ) and ordered it with express shipping ( all the things we do for make up, right ladies and gentlemen? ). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The foundation comes in a sleek frosted bottle with a pump spender. I like the packaging, it's luxurious, it's pretty and it's functional. My shade 020 is a neutral one with a bit of peachy undertone. I received a sample of 030 and yet it is more yellow toned and could suit my complexion better, it is a tad too dark for me at the moment. A mixture of 020 and 030 would be weirdly too pink though, so yes 020 is the closest match for my complexion.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation has a rich creamy texture. The texture is thick, but airy and lightweight. It feels velvety on the skin and applies flawlessly. It blends really well too. The foundation provides a solid medium coverage which is what I usually go to for my every day make up. It layers well as long as you keep each layer thin. The finish is the nicest thing from this foundation. It gives a ethereal glow, something you can't just pinpoint but you know it's there. It is not dewy though, the texture is rather a semi matte once it's set, but the glow is there. I don't know what formulation Chanel put into this foundation but it's something I had never experienced before. If you struggle from having dull and lacklustre complexion, you'll be happy with this one.<br />
<br />
One downside however - which is sadly rather a big deal for me - is that the foundation is not particularly long wearing on my combination skin. I tried some primers ( Benefit Professional, Bareminerals Prime Time, Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer ) and none of them really prolonged the longevity. It faded after ca. 4-5 hour so I needed to constantly blot and touch up. I still wear it often whenever I just need to go out for a quick dinner or lunch, but I have to avoid wearing it if I have a long day ahead.<br />
<br />
Overall, it is a pretty good foundation from Chanel. The finish is its strongest feature. A good staying power will make it a very strong candidate to be the best foundation of the year ( well I know it's only March xD ), but longevity is a big deal for me.<br />
<br />
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation retails for ca. €49,95 / 30ml.<br />
<br />
Love,<br />

If I had to pick up the most beautiful make up item I have in my collection so far, I'd choose this blush from Chanel. Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon Harmonie de Blush is part of Chanel spring 2016 collection. The first time I saw the blush on Instagram, I fell in love and religiously checked few websites that carry Chanel beauty in Germany because I was worried it'd be sold out. Fortunately, I was able to get my hands on it and I am so glad I splurged on this gorgeous item.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon blush is housed in a trademark Chanel black case. There is a built in mirror inside and it also comes with a mini brush which is stored in a 'velvet' pouch that comes with it. The blush has 5 different shades ranging from peachy - rosey pink - orange to bright vibrant fuchsia. All individual shades have great pigmentation and once blended they form a nice bright pink shade. It is very pigmented though, so I like to use my sparse blush brush to saturate the pigmentation and make it looking softer on the cheeks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The powder is very soft, smooth and has such a pleasant texture. There is zero fallout and the emboss doesn't wear off quickly. It applies smoothly and is easy to blend, giving my cheeks a nice healthy flush. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I have tried few Chanel baked blushes from their regular collection and have to say that I'm not a fan of the formula. Gladly the limited edition blushes from Chanel usually have different formulation and therefore worth to try.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
To be honest, there is not much to be told about this blush. It is just one excellent product. Everything from the concept, the packaging, the texture, the color, the quality is just great. It is however strongly fragranced. I don't mind it though, in fact, I kinda like the scent. But if you are sensitive to fragrance on make up, that might be a downside for you. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The blush wore well on me. I can go to 7-8 hour mark with no problem.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
If you still can get your hands on this gem, I think you should consider splurging.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
#Chamade is a medium coral pink with glossy finish. It doesn't contain any shimmer particles and such a bright but still easy shade to wear on daily basis. I love to blot it a bit too for a sheerer look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
#Bal de Mai is a rosy nude shade with tiny gold shimmers. Don't worry about the shimmer though as they're very fine and far from chunky. Bal de Mai is a more neutral shade compare to Chamade and hence even easier to wear. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Speaking about the formula, Guerlain Rouge Automatique is a full pigmented lipstick with creamy and emollient texture. It glides on very very smoothly and 1 swipe is what's needed to reach opacity. It has glossy finish and it gives my lips a nice plump juicy effect. The glossiness wore off after couple of hours but it still has a nice sheen to it and won't go complete matte. I found it difficult to find something I didn't like from the lipstick. The formula is so foolproof and comfortable on the lips. For a full pigmented - creamy lipsticks, Guerlain Rouge Automatique lipstick is very hydrating on the lips. It doesn't dry up my lips or accentuate any lip lines. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Guerlain claims the range to be long wearing, and it's surprisingly is. I can get to 5-6 hour mark and considering the formula, it is impressive for a lipstick with moist - creamy texture. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Speaking of the packaging, the Guerlain Rouge Automatique comes in a slide down square bullet. It has a push-pull mechanism where the lid pulls down and the lipstick pushes out. I was worried about the packaging at first, but it turned out to be a great solid case. </div>
<br />
If you're looking for a nice full pigmented lipstick with glossy finish, Guerlain Rouge Automatique might be an excellent choice.<br />
<br />
Have you tried any lipsticks from Guerlain?<br />

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in No.22 ( pfiuhhh what a name!! ) is a cream blush in a stick form from Chanel. The cream blush is housed in a black stick tube with Chanel logo on the top lid. The packaging is simple yet classy, just like how you'd imagine how a Chanel make up would look like.<br />
<br />
The shade I picked up ; No.22 is a peachy orange shade. The shade is bright and fresh and compliments my skin tone very well. The finish is creamy but matte with no visible shimmers or sheen (<i> even though I've read from other bloggers who say they spot some very fine shimmers</i> ).<br />
<br />
Texture wise, the cream blush has rich and emollient texture. It is not intensely creamy like Stila Convertible Colors, for instance. But, it is very easy to apply and effortlessly blends either you use fingers, sponge or stippling brush. My favourite tool is Real Techniques stippling brush though, it is just the best tool to apply cream products. The pigmentation is rather sheer, but it is build able. I personally prefer sheer build able pigmentation rather than bold - hard to blend blushes.<br />
<br />
The blush provides a natural peachy flush on the cheeks. I find that kind of shades really freshen up my whole look and make my skin looking healthier and less pale or dull. To quote my best friend, she told me that this blush give me a healthy looking glow.<br />
<br />
The staying power is good. I got ca. 5-6 hour wear on my combination skin.<br />
<br />
Overall, a good cream blush from Chanel. Is it groundbreaking? not really, but it's Chanel xD.<br />
<br />
Have you tried any cream blushes from Chanel?<br />
Love,<br />

I like cushion foundations. I just like the concept of the product, and I am so in love with the cushion foundation from Laneige that I already repurchased it more than 3 times! However, I usually apply cushion foundation as a sheer base before the 'actual' foundation. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Recently, a lot of Korean make up brands release some thematic cushion foundations. e.g. Beyond feat Alice in Wonderland, A'pieu feat Doraemon , The Skin Food feat Snoopy and Tony Moly feat Astro Boy. They are all look so cute and collectible that I ended up ordering one each xD (<i> please don't judge me. LOL. They are all on the way to me woohoo</i> ). </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I've tried Missha famous BB Cream and it was one of my favorite BB Creams ever. I no longer have it though, but I had high expectation for the Magic Cushion Foundation. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I picked up the shade number 21 which is the second lightest shade in the range. I usually opt for the second lightest shade whenever I am buying asian brands base makeup. They usually go very light, so second lightest shade seems like a safer option for my complexion. Glady, number 21 is a good match. It has slightly yellow undertone which I prefer to counter the redness on my cheeks and to brighten up the whole complexion. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The Magic Cushion has a lightweight texture, it is more 'wet' compare to the Laneige one. The coverage is surprisingly good that I don't need to layer it with actual foundation. It provides a solid medium coverage which is what I usually go for everyday. I've tried applying the foundation using beauty blender or the given sponge and both work well. I no longer use stippling or buffing brush to apply my foundation though ever since I tried the original beauty blender. There is no turning back for me. lol.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The Magic Cushion applies smoothly, it evens out the complexion really well but appears a bit ashy upon application. Don't worry though because once it's set, the ashy-ness disappears. It has a nice dewy finish which is not too much, but I do need to set it with loose translucent powder to tone down the dewiness a bit. If you have dry to normal skin, you won't have to set it with powder. But on my combination skin, a lightweight translucent powder is a must because the finish is a tad too dewy for my liking. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Talking about staying power, this Missha Magic Cushion wore a good 7-8 hour on me without any primer. My T-zone started to get shiny after 3 hour mark but nothing a good touch up powder can't solve.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I bought mine for ca. €13 and it comes with a 15gr refill. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Love,</div>
